In these critical days God is speaking very clearly and we want to share with you, so please make a date in your diary to connect with us online.  We believe that God is positioning us for a mighty move of His Spirit but first we must prepare our hearts.

Jeremiah 18:1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.” So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.

Then the word of the Lord came to me. He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel. If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, 10 and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.

11 “Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’ 12 But they will reply, ‘It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.’”

IT IS A DESPERATE TIME TO PRAY
FOR OUR CITY, REGION AND NATION
These are very critical days for our nation and we urgently want to mobilise as many people to pray as possible.  We have developed this simple tool to help us all to pray more effectively in this current global health crisis.  Thank you for joining us to pray for God’s mercy, the continued protection and recovery of our communities, nation and the nations.

Psalm 18:2-3 “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.”

The suggestion is that you can pray every day, covering the issues that are local, national and internationally relevant. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as to what to pray for and how to pray.   Also keep an eye on the news as things are developing and changing so fast and respond in prayer.  As you pray understand that YOU are playing a very important role in praying for those on the front line and the most vulnerable in our families and communities.

We have developed a CORONAVIRUS PRAYER STRATEGY to help and empower us to pray.  You can click on the link below to download a copy. Please SHARE and encourage others to pray.

If there is ever a time for the church to gather together in unity, this is it.

Once a month in Liverpool, Sue Sinclair (Community Watchman Ministries) holds a worship and prayer gathering to pray for revival, transformation and a mighty harvest.
