News and events News Thy Kingdom Come - New Resources Thy Kingdom Come 2019 is less than 10 weeks away! We have a wonderful range of new resources available - whether you are looking to take part as a church, a family / small group or as an individual - suitable for all denominations and traditions. Here is just a little snippet of some of this year's key resources: The Prayer Journal – A mini booklet including daily themes with corresponding Bible verses, suggestions and quotes to inspire prayer, suitable for all ages including teenagers and young adults. The Novena – a pocket-sized booklet with traditional prayers for the nine days between Ascension and Pentecost. Each page includes beautiful artwork to reflect on with devotional guidance, a Bible passage, and prayer. The Methodist Novena - written by Revd Dr. Barbara Glasson, President-Elect of the Methodist Conference 2019/20, this booklet of daily reflections contains beautiful images, prayers, and readings to encourage, challenge and inspire throughout the nine days of prayer between Ascension and Pentecost. The Family Adventure Prayer Map with stickers – this is our flagship family resource suitable for children aged 5 and over. The map encourages families to explore the different daily themes on prayer in a creative way and includes a number of fun activities. For families looking to go deeper, there is also a Family Prayer Adventure Journal with more in-depth reflections on the themes for the 11 days. Journey with Mary – An 11-day devotional journeying with Mary from the Ascension to Pentecost as we pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. There is also a podcast series to go along with it! Morning and Evening Prayer - A beautiful, full-colour booklet of Morning and Evening Prayers, from Ascension to Pentecost, together with selected Psalms and readings, making it an ideal introduction to a structured pattern of prayer for both individuals and church communities.
